Summer term

Welcome back, after I hope what was a restful Easter break! The final stretch! 

We have worked so hard so far, and only 1 more full term until summer!

This term we will be exploring the similarities and differences between Plymouth and Kampong Ayers! We will be thinking about how life would be different if we lived in a different part of the world! So get your explorer hats on and be ready for an adventure!

Keeping with locality, we will be thinking about why about this significance of history within Plymouth! going back in time to discover all of the amazing things that have happened to where we live, through history.

Get ready for a term of exploration in Donaldson class!

Spring Term

Welcome back! After what was a very well-deserved break!

This term we will be taking a trip to Antarctica, Brrr... We will be exploring why penguins don't need to fly. discovering the difference between Antarctica and The Sahara Desert, and why it might not be the best place for penguins to live! We will be thinking about why Antarctica is the perfect place for penguins to live, but maybe just not for us!

We will then be taking a trip back in time to think about why a person becomes history. We will be discovering this infamous Guy Fawkes and why we still 'celebrate' him today!
