We Are Proud Of

Our children have been learning about some of the children and families living in Moldova – one of the most deprived areas of Europe. It is important for our children to learn that there are places in the world where many children’s basic rights are not met and how we can have a positive impact on other people’s lives and put our Christian values of love, hope, joy, wisdom and respect into practice. For the Moldovan children supported by the charity, this Christmas will be special because they will get Christmas gifts from St Peter’s, which the children packed and prepared last week. We have also made Christmas cards to send to the families we are helping. The gifts we send them are a strong symbol of love and hope and evidence that they are not forgotten at Christmas time.

At St Peter’s we have been looking at bullying, what it means, the different types of bullying, what to do and how to help others. Each class gave a presentation during assembly, this included posters, a story and role play. The children used their wisdom and showed respect to one another while exploring this topic.
